i have an ex who takes no greater joy than rubbing in my face all his new girls, usually in front of me...what kind of sicko does that??? *cough*
 
Exes should be dead and buried! (I know its harsh) but they can really mess up things with your current partner. I personally dont trust them, when I met with wifey we agreed to cut our exes out of our lives and it worked. (I must admit that it wasnt easy, we kept on arguing about it but eventually it worked).
 
Man I'm glad I'm married.

Although if I got divorced the messages are the least of my concern. Giving here the house, car, kids, etc, that would really suck.
