What are you smoking? You said it couldn't fly in lightning, period, and then said it couldn't do so only up until 2022.

Now you are saying it can't again.

To be honest, I never claimed it couldn't even before 2022.. it was able to fly in lightning, but didn't have safety clearance to do so.

The Czech Republic government signed a Letter of Offer and Acceptance (LOA) today making official its intent to procure 24 Lockheed Martin 5th Generation F-35 Lightning II aircraft.

Through the U.S. government Foreign Military Sale, the Czech Air Force will receive its first aircraft in 2031, which will be in the latest advanced Block 4 configuration.
 
You get a F-35... you get a F-35... Everybody gets an F-35.

They are sending a lot of old Soviet equipment to Ukraine as part of this deal.

Who would have though that tne next US ace would be a Harrier pilot rather than a F-35, F-22 or F-15 pilot.
 
The US has access to this system as well with a rocket cost at half of a Iranian Shaheed.

O I fully agree that there are cheaper and better ways to shoot down drones and missiles. Just pointing out that the cost is not a 1:1 relationship, but 1:many.
 
The Israeli fleet of Lockheed Martin-built stealth fighters has achieved a 75% full-mission-capable rate and an 85% mission-capable rate despite a 565% jump in monthly average flight hours over a six-month period, said Maj. Gen. Donald Carpenter, the F-35 JPO’s head of logistics and sustainment.
