The Game Awards 2025

Not sure how I feel about Silksong being there, on the one hand it's a masterfully crafted game that's been highly anticipated for years and on the other its high difficulty puts it out of contention for so many people - thankfully we do have endless Let's Plays you can watch these days 😅

Definitely deserves to be there imo. Probably my personal GOTY.

Anyway this is a great list, albeit somewhat boring because E33 will win without a doubt. And ashamed to say I haven't played it yet even though it's right up my alley.
 
As every year, didn't buy many new games. Haven't played any of those yet but my personal GOTY I think is Lego Party.:)

Only just started Dispatch but I see many people say it's their favourite.

KCD2 I will play eventually but only after I've played the first game. And no idea when Death Stranding 2 will come to pc.
 
Expedition 33 for me, although I haven't played Death Stranding 2 or Hollow Knight.
 
Another vote for E33 from me too although I haven't played any of the others. I think it does deserve a win though.
 
I see they still haven't learnt about properly scaling their site, pages just timing out constantly. Same thing every year when the voting opens.

Definitely a game I want to play, its been on my wish list for some time now but I'm gonna wait and see if goes on the Black Friday list.

GoTY for me is Death Stranding 2, Kojima really pulled out all the stops on that one.

I got it discounted on Amazon (physical). I see now it's discounted even further due to BF. Fok man.

Anyway, it's good so far - but I'm only one hour in. It has some of the most janky ass parkour/platforming I've ever seen in a game though
 
Of all of the GOTY nominees I only played Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and even though it's a good game in my opinion it's not worthy of GOTY.

I'd go for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II.
