Pretty sure this is mandatory :P

Wonder though if it was organised crime or just pissed people.
Whatever way, it just makes e-tolling more difficult to keep running. That is always a good thing!

EDIT: Damn :( or not... Here's hoping for a cover up

I just shot myself in the foot by contacting E-toll tollfree number. They had no records of mine, so no account had been opened, ie, no billing records. Now they'll be sending the invoices after giving them the info.

The agent also laughed about not registering. She said, " You don't want to register, but you want to pay. Hahahaha."

Bribe-block to collect outstanding fines and to harass people about e-tags.
To be expected.

Of course I am a master bribe-block dodger.

Same here .. saw them on the onramp & took a slightly alternative route this morning.

At least this time it was organised & they had cones & stuff channeling traffic, I previously had a shouting match with the idiots who sit there daily for flagging down cars on a piece of road that was meant for speeding up & nearly causing an accident.

apparently they decided not to tell us that those gantries are not working yet. So they scared people into buying tags that might not even need them.

Since I don't understand - I assume BLEED are saying its false.. ?

Called call centre to report a LDV broken down on the N1 north just after olifantsfontein in a hazardous location yesterday after 6pm, call centre couldn't help me, wanted to give me some other number, I'm driving idiots, I cant take down other numbers...

Sent them a mail, got reply.

i-Traffic for all emergency related issues:
0800 487 233 or 011 312 1188

However, Mona said that non-payment as a result of non-compliance by motorists will not affect the agency's financial health because only 16% of its portfolio is tolled.

Oh, okay then. So you can default on a R41bn loan, repeatedly get downgraded by the ratings agencies and this will have no financial effect. Then why do we need the tolls in the first place?

Awww shame Vusi... are you a little worried now....

We dont' give a fsck.

Cape Town - The SA National Roads Agency Limited's (Sanral's) debt of R41bn could be put in jeopardy by motorists' non-payment for e-tolls, spokesperson Vusi Mona told Fin24.

However, Mona said that non-payment as a result of non-compliance by motorists will not affect the agency's financial health because only 16% of its portfolio is tolled.

:wtf:

So the R41bn will not hurt....

Try again you idiot, think they are busy ***** themselves

in short yes, that gantry with 2 others is not yet operational as they hadn't finished the road so cameras have not been installed yet
