Surely not. When you drive through a "normal" toll plaza they don't charge for a trailer do they?

Does anyone know what happens when you tow a trailer? Do they check front or back plates or both?
Mate of mine towed a trailer through a gantry. Got an email claiming that his 10 ton truck was incorrectly registered as a light motor vehicle and he must correct the discrepancy.
For sure I would not want to explain it and I for one won't go near it, just saying there are possible if not plausable reasons for having one that are not illegal... far fetched perhaps.
I don't dispute this. My question is, and this stems from Marine1's post - will this device affixed to your vehicle constitute the crime of 'obstructing the course of justice'?
This: http://www.aartofacts.co.za/chargecodes-list.asp - go through the charge codes - just by not attaching the plates directly to the car you would violate Aarto. I think any traffic-cop with "motivation" could issue you with a ton of fines if they have it in for you.

As a few know I made that "F*** YOU SANRAL" bumper sticker...
Got given a lot of crap for that, in a roadblock at Marianhill Toll Plaza.
Did I remove it from my vehicle? Not a chance!
They can yes... I told them I was going now, as people were expecting me and there was a massive prang in Stanger, so I left.
A lot of people react to that sticker... stopping me in shopping malls asking where they can get one, and how big balls I have to put that on the car.

Those of you who are refusing to pay at all - what is your plan when they come to arrest you?
Meaning?
