These bathroom extractor fans, where does the steam go to? Once extracted, does the water just lay on the ceiling? Or is there a way for it to be extracted to the outside as well?

This is what I had in mind, however the pipe comes out the wall at a very oblique angle, so I don't think I will be able to fit a nice fitting flush like that one without pulling the tiles off

The one I bought came with a flappy vent box and tube to allow you to route the steam.. the flappy vent box is meant to be installed in a wall, yet it is a ceiling extractor fan..

You can fit an inline tap just above where the pipe bends from the wall, like this one and connect the Flexi hose to that..

I covered up my wall vent with tile. Need to find something with a tube that can be pushed through the space in the roof then, to the outside.

ah shiz thats really short, either you could do a short peice of flexible copper with 2 compression fittings, or else you would need to cut it back, solder on a valve and use a flexible pipe that the others have suggested.

i am not sure you will get a flexible pipe in there if it is only around 5cm

ooh, I misunderstood the problem a bit there.
 
This will be a bit risky, but from the outside, you can follow the copper pipe with a drill and kind of grind it out. This is what I did. I then added a PVC pipe as I am redoing my plumbing with these pipes.

I am thinking that's the big issue. If I could find a braided hose shorter than 350mm then perhaps I can cut it back and install a valve and it should look neat, but not with 300mm extra hose crammed in underneath the basin:X3:
 
Anyone have a recommendation for a dude to redo my bathroom basin sink cabinets. I've got water ingress that has now destroyed the wood. It's living on a prayer.

Not a small job, just needs to be custom built.

I would support the top and then rebuild below. But I'm no expert and definitely don't have the time. Keen for someone with the expertise to do it.

The mosaics lock in the top unfortunately so it might be easier to support it all, cut all away and then rebuild from bottom.

Bladdy mission. All because the silicone around the one basin leaked it seems. It's about 2m in width.
