Enough about glass, can we get onto pools now please...^^^
I would hazard that the iron levels in the borehole water are a bit high and reacting with the chlorine, but it has never happened to me and I only use borehole water in the pool, so I'm not sure.

Yeah, the well point water seems particularly iron rich after all the rain we had this year.. it's rich enough that the water literally smells like iron..

Read up a bit, but if I remember correctly iron should eventually settle in clumps and you can vacuum it up.

Probably be best to vacuum to waste, but then I need to fill the pool again and so the cycle starts all over..

Should really put in the work to get my JoJo hooked up as a backwash tank..

Perhaps go to a pool shop with some of the water, there might be some muti you can chuck in.

What do you guys use to get rid of these? Obviously don't want to kill the lawn under, but they're starting to spread.
Fokken clovers. I am having the same problem. I use Super Lawnweeder or Banweed. 5ml per liter of water. Mix it in a bottle or knapsack sprayer and spray it once a week or once every 2 weeks. This is the first season I am struggling with this kak.

They take over if you don't get on them quick. Good luck.

This, too much iron in the water.
