should of expected the response - inquired at Ellies where to actually buy the accessories because I've tried two Builders Warehouses, both of which say they don't stock them - and Ellies reply with a one liner to try Builders or Makro (also don't have)

Are there any neat alternatives to Ellies D-Line - I officially give up on them, calling their headoffice and they also can't help me - and don't have stock, or know where to get stock.

The clip over corner stuff you can grab on Amazon.. quick search found the half-sphere accessory pack..

So you can grab the trunking here and order the other bits from Amazon..

Need to find an alternative - can't even get the trunking, they only have the wood grained one - which looks crap.

bra you are making a meal of this :p

Xrapidx I see your avatar says you are from Cape Town. Still there? If so maybe give Falcon Electronics in Woodstock a call and see if they have what you want. I have bought heaps of trunking etc from them over the years. When they haven't had what I wanted they pointed me in the right direction. I see they have branches elsewhere in SA. http://falcon-elec.co.za/Default.asp

chase the cable along the grouting?

Cable is too thick - was used to power the jacuzzi - going to have a look when I get home, but might just drill it straight back through the wall and outside the other side. Biggest issue, is the conduit goes up the wall, and I have no idea where.

anyone know anything about this side mount roll up door opener?

i replied in that thread, asked if you had any idea about brand and/or model? i have worked with the centurion ones a little, it doesnt seem to be a centurion though base don the missing limiter switch but it does look older

sorry - I replied to ponder - didn't see your message at the time

I looked for the brand name but could not find any.

the centurion is similar except for the limit switches

just need to know how to synchronise the disk with the door?

what does the remote look like? or is there an aftermarket receiver? there is often a small box with a control board and a battery alongside on the wall

Leave the conduit and all that nonsense it will make it untidy.

Option 1 is to remove the grout and cut the tile using a grinder about 10mm, you will then have 1 thick line of grout rather than a conduit running on the floor

Option 2 find a close as match as possible for those tiles and replace the one tile. And then go behind the skirting.

Option 3 extend the Astro turf along the wall to the skirting and run the wire under it.

The conduit you will have on the floor is going to be a tripping hazard.
