i would also not put new sheets over old sheets, take the old off and start a fresh.
Yeah, let's see some pics..

The garage on the left is the problematic one and has a pool of water currently. The one on the right drains fine, it's damp from last nights rain but there are no pools.

From the pics, the drain for the left garage is in the bottom left corner. That drain was also horribly done or done without much thought as it just drains out to the entrance of the garage.

I would run rafters across the two walls coming up and tie into the side of the building on the left and lay sheets over the rafters.. this way you avoid tying into the sagging roof, which will just pull down the sheets over time.. just make sure this idea is up to building code etc..

However, the sagging will lead to collapse at some point.. you'll need to either tear down the concrete slab roof or find a way to support it..

Would anyone know who offers a plaster premix in Cape Town? I need to plaster a garage wall about 21sqm. Premix bags would work better for me due to space, etc. Let alone me screwing up the mix.

Builders only offer premix in Gauteng. Same with local cement supplier.

Any recommendations for someone that won't charge an arm and a leg to break out the built-in braai..? N. Suburbs Cape Town..

And to the braai gods that are shouting blasphemy, the braai was never built properly, doesn't pull the smoke out and I have a massive outside area that I will be converting to covered entertainment area with a new braai..

Looks like a new screed (and waterproofing possibly) needs to be done with proper falls to the outlet.

Pm me I may have someone that can assist.

I don't. But i can use your doors below the braai. And you only wear plakkies ?

You are welcome to the doors if you arrange the courier and yes, I predominantly wear plakkies.. very few exceptional occasions that I don't, even in winter..

Okay, a bit far from the hardware I was going to recommend.

Check at the smaller hardware stores in your area. They might be willing to make a mix for you.
Which hardware were you going to recommend?

Going to try Built-It. Maybe I'm lucky.

They premixed my sand/stone/cement before delivering when I was making a slab for my water tanks.

Phoning around, trying to find someone to renovate my en-suite and the last guy I phoned now, answered the phone with the least zest and lus for life, just a slow, kill me now, hello and nothing else.. immediately made me think twice about even getting him out for a quote..

Welcome to the world that is renovation contractors.

P.S. I can recommend Level Contractors in CT.

For isotherm 145mm, I was quoted 22k at 200sqm..
Got quoted, 22k for 280sqm of 135mm pink aerolite , by one of their official partners or what not.

After working in my study today, wearing long johns,.a beanie and my fingers nearly frozen, called them to come install on Thursday. Ridiculous how cold my house is.

When I can afford it, replacing all the **** wooden windows with double glazing. Hoping the aerolite does the job of bringing temp up by 4-6 degrees .

My fireplace also pointless but let's see if the aerolite helps in any way. Wondering if those digital inverter aircons are the shizz. I have an old a/c in lounge and when on, definitely heats area up better but eats electricity.

While I am complaining, thanking my stars however that I have a roof and warm bed, must be absolutely unbearable for those less fortunate in the townships or with no roof over their head with this weather

Here's a post I wrote a while ago:
Thanks for the response. If you don't mind me asking, can you remember roughly what you paid per sqm?

I want to build a 4m x 5m covered braai area, Steel frame, wooden structure up top and IBR roof sheets.

Anyone have any idea how we go about plans or know a reasonable guy to draft them?
