Correct yes but I think that pump which is visible is for the tank and pressure tank / house but Im speaking under correction.
It would seem so yes. Based on this data, my best guess is that it's municipal collection, storage and pressurised for home use.

Thank you

Any clever ideas to make this side of the roof watertight..? There is no sealant or filler of any kind between the actual tiles and the top of the garage wall and what I am finding is that rain water is running over the side and runs down the bottom of the tile, dripping into the garage.. only a few spots..

Edit: inside, you should be able to see the drops.. could it be that the water is just saturating through the tile..?

You will need to fill each "gap" with some sort of waterproof sealer like a silicone...

Today is going to be an interesting day... Full day of work and normal meetings and all that, and I have guys on site putting up an awning about 2m away from my office... AWESOME.....

That's a lot of silicone and definitely not saturating through the tile..

Edit: I could probably use that expanding foam that comes in a spray can..

Then maybe an expanding foam could be a "temporary" solution....

Your best option is going to be mortar filling each gap properly and all that.

Expanding foam will just cause it to drip down the wall though. Wonder if there's another solution.

I noticed that I have the same problem. Water flows on the underside of the sheet and misses the gutter

I have the same - its annoying and on my list of things I'll probably never get to.

I may be able to put down a channel iron of some sort on the fascia board top, against the wall to capture and channel it away somewhere.. I am nearly done with my shelving inside the garage and these leaks are right over the top of the shelves, so I need at least a temp fix and quick..

Honestly given that small overhang, you will never get away from the water dripping down the outside of the wall, unless you extend the roof overhang somehow.... have to choose the lesser of two evils. Stop the water getting inside, and have it drip down the wall, or let the water get inside.

You can at least control the water on the outside of the wall, and paint the wall with a waterproof base layer or something.

Extend the roof overhang by adding a little more sheet.
option 2 expanding foam will work perfect
option 3 cement it up.

Spent 3 weekends putting up this polycarbonate roof between the house and the garage. 58m2.
It was a nightmare with the garage and house being at 45 degree angles. All the profile cutting was difficult to say the least.

But mission achieved. Now i patiently wait for the rain so i can sit and watch my kid play outside without getting wet.

Next on the list is building a deck for the area. This weekend im starting the walkway decks that go around the house. Need to do some gutters also and paint.

The best solution is to modify the angle. Obviously your angle is not enough to accommodate the run off.
The least amount of effort would be to run a strip of rubber or silicone about 4cm from the edge underneath forcing the water to stop there. And if you feeling lekka you can profile fascia board and place it on the edge.

Very cool dude...

I'm paying someone to do the awning, I don't have the willpower to sort it myself.. and mine is simple in comparison to yours.

Ye the quotes i got was 8k labor. So i figured i just do it myself. One thing i need to add though is a retractable shade tarp underneath the roof. Its lekka in winter sitting there in the full sun, but i reckon the summer is gonna be a killer.

I agree with this.. just see if a bead underneath so that the water drops off before the fascia.

Usually the fascia touching the valleys is enough. I had this happen with my zinc roof but then the fascia would rot. So actually got the water to drop off into the gutter 100% simply by shaping the valley edges with pliers.

This **** annoys the **** out of me.

Our db board sparked and smoked the last two times I turned on the breaker (after switching it off to do something).

Called the insurance home-assist - first thing the guy does when he called me is to tell me insurance only covers one hour, and not parts - which I knew - and I also know swapping a breaker isn't going to take an hour.

Needless to say, they rock up - confirm something wrong with the breaker, says he can do me a deal R1600 for a new breaker. Told him he's off his head - I'll call the insurance and make other plans... then "I must understand, they have to go buy a new breaker, extra call out, etc." - needless to say, they've left - and I'm on hold for the insurance.
