often you can buy off cut peices at places like steel mate etc

It's just to cap the pole and for the light fitting to sit in really. They current steel pole is pretty stout in the ground still.Why not ? It's your place.

OO ok. That will work. And they should sell that pvc pipe in shorter lenghts.

Put an end cap on the pvc pipe and screw your light onto that.

i know for a fact that steelmate just off atlas road in boksburg sells off cuts (assuming that they have the peice you want)

That or the one going over the pipe, doesn't matter.

The one that goes over will probably be better to keep water out, off to builder now to see what I can get.

How in the actual hell are shower doors so darling expensive..
All I need is a single panel, pivot door and frame and the doors and frames for these things are seemingly sold separately, meaning I have to fork out 3k on the cheap end..

in my experience they are always sold together...

They charged R12k for my frameless shower setup.
