I have a second pole on the other side of the pool where that top piece has completely rusted away. So I need to replace it anyway. I don't think I only buy a 200mm lenght pipe so might as well cut two and save me some effort.

often you can buy off cut peices at places like steel mate etc

Why not ? It's your place. And won't rust. Maybe moer some cement inside when you plant it. (Not to the top, just the part being planted. ABout 400mm.)
It's just to cap the pole and for the light fitting to sit in really. They current steel pole is pretty stout in the ground still.

The one that goes over will probably be better to keep water out, off to builder now to see what I can get.

How in the actual hell are shower doors so darling expensive..

All I need is a single panel, pivot door and frame and the doors and frames for these things are seemingly sold separately, meaning I have to fork out 3k on the cheap end..

in my experience they are always sold together...

They charged R12k for my frameless shower setup.

Wow. How many people fit in your shower ?

Myself, my wife - and my girlfriend comfortably.

Difficult to get a photo due to the size of the room
