Put it up...... Want to see a pic. Looks nice.

Buy yourself that Sliding mitre saw, for good behaviour this year.
I have such a list of toys I want, I think before the saw I want a 3d printer, too many arduino type devices floating around without covers.

The saw would have been useful though - the wood arrived with one shelf 7mm longer - and the center hole drilled 7mm off center...

Putting the shelves up tomorrow - just want to make sure the sealer is properly dry.

Had them up pre-staining though - didn't want to struggle and scratch them post sealing.

Made them yourself or bought the kit ? I can't get those pipe flanges ANYWHERE in this town.

I also struggled - eventually bought everything from these guys - including the wood - it was cheaper than any of the guys around me.

Does anyone know where I can find a wall-type kitchen tap-mixer with those sprayer heads?
They are almost exclusively available in the pillar form from what I can tell.

Aha. Thanks man. I'll keep that link.

What's wrong with going to the pillar type..? I have not seen a wall type and I have been shopping around recently for taps/mixers myself..

I would have to extend pipes down into kitchen cupboard for neatness sakes or have the two braided extenders be visible behind the pillar type. My pipes come down from the roof into the supporting wall from what I can tell. Old-ass house built back in the 1960's somewhere so trying to do some conversions in the kitchen without going full overhaul!

Good luck finding those. I have not seen one anywhere.

extending the pipes shouldn’t be too big of an issue though. Quick little job

Cool, good to know that it can be done. I see how the guys come along with the filler/finishing plaster/sanding... otherwise they'll have to skim all the walls.

I hate our existing interior walls, it's this old school textured walls - and wherever a picture has been hung or something was done in the 70 years of the houses life you can see it clearly. Oneday I'll start having every wall inside skimmed... but yeah, that's going to be a job and a half.
I got most of our walls rhinolited because they were that horrible bumpy walls. Smoother walls do look a bit better.

yes I did my whole house years ago uPVC + double glazing, laminated - best thing I ever did - expensive, but no regrets
Thanks got a quote and was within the price range I had thought. About 8k a window

Kitchen Wall Type Tap
Something like this would work perfectly for us but you can't find these locally anywhere unfortunately
i wonder if something like this will screw on to replace the existing spout?

This could work but I doubt the fittings will be flush, nevermind fit correctly. Will see if there's a way to extend the pipes to allow for a pillar type fitting without it looking dodge
