I'm in an old house with those massive oldskool black circuit breakers. The new ones are very much shorter. Is there an adapter to make them fit in my old DB board?
But this is for CBI breakers using samite/mini rail
As @krieg said, you might be better off taking out the fuchs rail and installing the din or samite/mini rail, either onto or replacing the fuchs rail. Or installing a surface mount board over your existing board.

I did the rail replacement into my old board and it's doubled up my space for breakers. I'm a CBI man, so I went for samite/mini rail, but most brands use DIN.
I'm still finishing up the board:
Top part new and still needs few more breakers. Bottom still to be done and can see old breakers. Top row was filled with fuchs breakers, now lots of space available

Yeah your bottom row looks just like mine. I just want to add a breaker so not replace the whole rail. Is that possible?

Yes you can use the fuchs to samite rail adapter that I posted.
If you using a cbi breaker then it will fit directly onto that adapter.
If it's another brand then you will need a samite to din adapter ontop of that.

Edit: Alternatively I now have a bunch of breakers available I can sell to you... antique, retro, add whatever buzzword that will make them more valuable to you

I woke up to no electricity, looks like my main breaker is fried. No power leaving it
What a great start to the week.

And a week ago the tiles in the kitchen just popped up, old tiles that have been here for at least the 5 years that I've been here.

No moisture or anything. Called insurance out and they came back saying it's bad workmanship FML

And yesterday I was working on the stupid fkn swimming pool during loadshedding.
Forgot that I left it turned on, but in backwash.

A few hours after loadshedding ended I heard the pool pump make a funny sound, went out to check and my pool is 1/3 empty.

I hate this swimming pool, can't wait to close it.

Really wish there was a device that you could install in the pool that switches off the pump via WiFi if the water reaches a certain level.

Had the same issue one day where all the water was pumped out onto the roof as the one solar panel joint tore open. Pool is such a farking hassle recently!!

What companies make concrete planters? Google is failing me.

My wife wants a few, around 60x40x30cm.

oh yeah. Can't help with that. :p

Found a few places searching by changing my search to concrete fountains :D

**** is expensive these days though, R800-R1000 a planter, and she wants 5.... then 5x trellises.... soil....etc. Probably going to cost around R10k.

Went to Stodels for jasmine to plant in them, R800/plant for a reasonable size one... there's no chance. This will start off as a small plant, or offcut :p

Yeah, SO grows spring onions, brinjals and what not. Except for pomegranates which have overwhelming yield, I don't think ROI is positive anywhere else. School fees. :-(

Make raised beds, thats what I did. Worked out well for me. Came to about 1k each for 1mx2m x1m (6m sheets + 2 x 3m poles), and I got them cut at the lumber yard, just needed to screw together and cast a bit of cement for the poles.

Mine are wife friendly. Just painted them with some rust proofing a few weeks back as starting to rust at the bottom > 2 years later.
