I don't mind the touch sensitive buttons, but I haven't used it so much, so it could be that I don't know that much. I'd like to get a few for the house to test, so perhaps I should just do that and see for myself

aaah ok if you buy the 2nd one it needs to go into the wall or ceiling and will still work with swittches ?
im guessing you cant cos if the switch is off and the wifi connector is on then it wont work right
so ideally next questions who is the most reasonable people who keep wifi switches for lights
cause i want to add few so that when im out i can switch the lights on

One thing about those soft touch buttons. Maybe only buy 1 to start, to first see if it will work for you. The issue these usually have in SA with our brick walls, is these do not always sit flush with the wall and sometimes they dont cover the entire hole in the wall etc.
For me, I decided to go with the Veti 1 modular switches, using the bell press switches which do not have a on/off state but toggle the state. They look like normal non-smart switches to visitors but you have full control from your phone when paired with something like a sonoff mini or shelly device that sits inside. Does need a neutral at the switch box though. Something you should see if you have or not. Maybe you dont and I missed that part.
agreed with this. got one sonoff loved it pulled neutrals for all switches and did the whole house best decision ever couldnt be happier! with automation and the ability to to on light switches based on sunset and sunrise we have lights going on 30-45 min before sunrise so when we wake up our kitchen for example is lit. our library/tv lamps switch on and provide ambient light before sunset and I push one button to switch all off when in bed. the outside lights remaining on.
options are endless.

How hard is it to pull neutrals to your switches?
I know jack sh*t about electricity, so please excuse my lack of knowledge
I personally wouldnt do it our solar installer did it at the same time as the solar installation I just fitted the switches myself.

It's very doable diy, but nr1 priority is safety. So unless you know how to do it safely, it's better to get someone in who does it as part of their craft.

It's definitely not something I would DIY in my situation (thankfully my house has its neutrals pulled in already).
It would be a monumental PITA to do it where you don't have access to the ceiling space, like many flat roof houses and would you would likely be cutting open a lot of holes in the ceilings.

I've got a bunch of old transformer-style spots that I want to change out for LED based GU10s inside an inaccessible ceiling. It will involve having to make some access holes and I've just been putting it off as it's going to be annoying.Happy to do for a price

One gets these rods, almost like plumbing rods but more flexible, which one uses for roofs like yours to run cables. Endoscope is helpful as well.

Don't even waste your time. That profile photo is enough to know it looks and smells like a scam.
It looks exactly like scam I often see in the 3d printing world. If you are curious. I am not against females or other races in this case, the photo just look exactly like other scammer profiles I have seen too many off.
