My house's foundation is made from those dissolving bricks, not half bricks but still the same type, in some places the bricks are completely gone only the mortar is left. But that's a problem for a later day. The house is built in semi vlei/marsh ground. If I remember i will get a pic later.

Family was building on a double garage. The bricks they bought were packed neatly on the pavement, where they melted after a storm. The BiL made the brick company shovel up the resulting pile of sand and replace it with "real" bricks

Anyone know where I can get one of these in black - hardware stores mostly have the ones that hold the bulb where this needs to clamp on the glass housing 16cm.

Otherwise it'll be getting some Rustoleum satin black treatment.

Rustoluem it.. 150 for the can vs new light fixture at triple the price or more, spraying it is a no brainer..

Not exactly the same but that's what I did with this one. Bought it at the same time, if I recall the packaging gave the specs of what duct pipe to get.

Short answer - We're into the aesthetic.

In use : Feels lux, I take shorter showers, since this is a head to toe rain simulator. For the same reason though you contort if avoiding wet hair.
