How many of ypu canceled your Telkom ISP since Mweb launched it's uncapped servic.

I have been told NOT to cancel my Telkom account by a Telkom source, and I won't - not yet.
I'm sure Telkom will come out with a package that rivals all the others and if that happens, I don't wanna have to pay a pro-rata charge.

cancelled telkom, cancelled axxess, cancelled afrihost.

now with mweb.

Keeping my telkom ISP, Keeping WA Line rental complete 7 special, Keeping Mweb uncapped.

How reliable is your source? Has the mysterious source given you some sort of heads up as to when these "packages" might be revealed?

Also waiting for Telkom to play their hand.....

I will stay with Telkom but unless they come up with an answer to the lower rates I will be moving.

My suggestion to Telkom:

Upgrade all 384 to 512 and up the GB to 20GB+ at a rate comparable to MWeb.

That way you will keep most of your existing customers and allow the Leeches to go elsewhere

Will be converting today from Do 3 Closer to 4Mb/s & line rental only. Just don't use the phone enough to stay on Closer and don't need the TI local bandwidth anymore.

People should not confuse Telkom LINE RENTAL with Telkom ISP. I see no reason to "hang out" with Telkom ISP, there's nothing they are going to roll out that you can't mysteriously "return to" , even if you have Mweb.

If Telkom upgrades your line to 8MB/s , that is NOT Telkom ISP ! Telkom ISP and Telkom DSL is 2 different services.

Anyway, i've canceled my Telkom ISP [this would be the 1gB / 3gb / 5gb packages] , i'm still keeping my actual Line Rental with Telkom.

I also have not signed up with Mweb, but instead simply bought more GBs from Afrihost [instead of pay R150 for 3GB from Telkom ISP , i payed R150 for 10GB from Afrihost ].

So if Telkom ISP suddenly comes out with an uncapped deal [or any other deal that seems better than what i currently have] , then i'll just reactivate. Simple.

Telkom needs a miracle. And the clock is ticking. They're going down. For the 1st time in many years, they operate in the red. Since selling their stakes in Vodacom. But, if their packages are any good, I'll stay.

I've kept my 3gb Telkom account while signing up for an Afrihost uncapped. It wasnt to see if they'd play ball but more a 'just in case'. Its proven useful to me thus far as when my afrihost speed lags, I have a comparison to run with my Telkom acc.

I cancelled my Telkom ISP today. They cancelled it with immidiate effect, but on my last invoice, I've already been invoiced for TI-April. Should I deduct that from my bill? According to the consultant I'm billed in advance, but if I cancel, I cant use TI in April and still have to pay for it anyway. WTF?
