Yea i am pissed with them , who lets some idiot lose in a nuclear facility that does not know WTF they are doing ,idiots like this can cause catastrophes of epic proportions that could impact the whole planet . :wtf:
 
So, I just had the craziest experience ....

I went off to the local shopping centre .... and half the shops are open with power, and half are closed.
Its probably the second largest shopping complex in the province.

One must wonder what this costs the business and how much money isn't flowing through the economy because of this ....

Switching off domestic .... uncomfortable but unavoidable.

Switching off business - manufacturing or retail is just crazy .... its an economy killer.

Mind you, Gwede Mantashe claims its the economy that caused this (after apartheid, and Oom Jan of course).

Sure I understand the frustrations, the outrage even. But expressing this hate, whether from spleen or bile, needlessly darkens the intellect and corrodes the community solidarity we require to move ahead.

I don't hate Eskom. Not one bit.

But I do have an issue with the politicians who've made Eskom their playing.

Let's hold the right people accountable. It's the pols, not an enterprise like Eskom. Let's hold their feet to the fire instead of blaming one of their victims.

I hate both eskom amd the Anc, the anc, because well fck do you still need a reason ?


And eskom because yes it is anc sponsored, but it's the eskom board that fcked up.

They where elected by the anc, but that's not ny problem they should've resigned or admit they are clueless instead Eskom the company lied.

So fck eskom and fck the anc end of story
 
Both are to blame but Eskom more so. Goverment said no to power plans and the great Eskom management just accepted it and did nothing and we won't even go into their super maintenance. I hate both eskom and the anc with a burning passion...

Agreed - and for that I hate the suckers,

Eskom are an SOE and so by extension are part of the government du jour- dominated by the ANC ATM.

Having said that, Eskom are the main culprits in this debacle.

Eskom decided to shed engineers and insert others pampering to equity before the racist ANC regime legislated it. Today its entrenched - but oddly enough Eskom has posters up that read ''do you know our skills gap - neither do we''!! They KNOW they have a problem, but the racist ANC policy come first.

Eskom are responsible for maintenance and Eskom didnt do it, they admit this.

Eskom are responsible for the MANAGEMENT of supply and planning for demand, and they didnt. THEY chose to buy cr@ppy coal from the political elite.
The buck shouldnt be passed from ANC to Eskom and vice versa. The buck stops with Eskom. They should be held to account for the supply of energy.
The ANC regime have their own litany of daft and stupid decisions to answer for. Lynne Brown pointing at Tshediso Matona and vice versa is great for anger shedding, but wont help load shedding.

And in the latest salvo, Eskom have sidelined their spokesman and gone on a propaganda campaign. Again the ANC have their own bullshyte department, headed by Mac Silver tongue. In this case its ESkom who have decided to the bullshyting. ITs Eskom that is burning my butt.

IMHO - Eskom must bend over and take one for the team for their own mismanagement.
Their execs CEO, CFO and COO were awarded some R24,4 million in bonuses!! Buys alot of vaseline .....

If it wasnt for the useless ANC crowd currently screwing up the economy and if we had REAL growth thing could be even worse.
Then again if the keystone SAPS helped to end illegal connections and cable theft, things could be whole lot better.

I wont even venture into the new build program.

And while this goes on - you and I - the people who pay for a service are the ones being screwed over.

No, I hate Eskom.
