Hi Guys

I thought it would be interesting if people that actually have Fiber to the home installed can post some details on their experience.

I'd like to see if people are actually getting anything near advertised speeds.

Latency Local: 30ms to IS Cape Town

General Experience/Comments: For R120 pm more I could get 75/75Mbps but my external harddrive prolly doesn't copy that fast.

Bruce that's a broadband budget of a medium sized businesses?
 
Interesting so nobody so far has posted about a South African fiber to the home connection yet.
 
Well this is a sad thread....

Honestly wouldn't mind fiber for our school. Our 2 ADSL lines are maxed out pretty much all the time.
