Would have liked to see shamsi ahead of phangiso but overall pretty good squad picked.

Shamsi didn't do well in the Ram Slam, whereas Phangiso was the highest wicket taking spinner.

I would love to know why Morne Morkel wasn't picked, he did well in that nightmare series SA had in India.

Perhaps Albie Morkel should've been considered as well...

Nightmare series? We won the t20's would hardly consider that a nightmare. If you are referring to the tests, tests are not t20.

It was probably quite simple. Steyn or Morkel. Steyn for me every day.

Albie is unlucky would have him ahead of morris or wiese but guess they didn't want to include 2 injury risks in the squad.

From those selected this is what I would like to see as a starting lineup:

1.Amla
2.QDK
3.Faf
4.AB
5.Miller
6.JP
7.Behardien
8.Wiese
9.Steyn
10.Rabada
11.Tahir

With JP and Behardien sharing 5th bowler?

With JP and Behardien sharing 5th bowler?

I suppose one will have to.

Non of these bowlers can really keep a score down, so I'll rather play a big hitting all rounder than having an extra bowler who is going to get punished anyway.

Strange to see Parnell not even making the squad.

Could drop either and play morris or abbot instead. I rather go with more batting for t20 cricket thought. If used at the right time I think they can get away with 4 overs between them.

I do feel for Morne though, he features in the #proteafire adverts and not even going? For me the decisions was not between Morne / Steyn, but rather Morne / Abbot.... the correct decision I believe but still... hehe

I like Phangiso's spirits....

often high.

/to be fair he has done fairly ok whenever he has played

Unless its all consumed during the flight, there is no need.:D

Along the lines of the ICC approach to corruption, if someone were to rat on him and this "gift" was not declared, he would be in deep, dark, sloppy poo :p :D
