Yeah, and that's the plan with it. Honestly, I'm not panicked about when the X gets here. My contract renews in November, but I can't fault the 6S, so waiting 'till the new year isn't an issue at all.

Very disappointed that iOS wasn't released last night. So today I'm going to make the move and download the public beta on my main device. I hope it's the right move.

If you've got the GM public beta then there's nothing to do., it is the real deal.

You’ll get update notifications and updates as you normally do.

He has to delete the beta profile after he installed GM in order to get update notifications for normal releases. If the public beta profile stays active he will only get notified for beta releases.
