The iOS 15 Thread/Discussion

Which phones is text recognition in images limited to? Because it’s working very well on my 11 Pro Max and that’s a 2019 iPhone.

Maybe it has something to do with the AI chip and what that can handle?
Apparently this feature will "only work with iPhones that use its A12 Bionic chip or better". So anything from the XS upward will be fine.

Anyone else having connectivity issues since updating to 15.2.1 or is it just me?

WiFi disconnects and sometimes I cannot make or receive calls until I toggle aeroplane mode on/off (with 3 bars cell signal)

Tried rebooting the phone etc but no luck

WiFi is fine on all my other devices

iPhone 12 Pro

No problems here with an iPhone 12.

Maybe do a network settings reset? (Have your Wi-Fi key at hand as it will forget all saved networks).

Thanks guys

Seems to be an issue with my Ubiquiti set up at Home then.

At the office (also Ubiquiti) it's fine

Will check it out when i'm back home

Mobile data seems to have sorted itself out for now

Yeah, and I was gutted to learn that PS5 games would not play on my PS2. Sony being Sony I guess ;)
But imagine your surprise when you loaded another app on your PS2 which allowed you to play your PS5 games! ;)

That’s more like PhonyStation 5, OCR was available before in apps like Office Lens.

Live Text is more real-time, like copying text from an website image as you scroll in Safari. How amazing it is depends on you.

Are your APs on the latest fw?

Also check that the AI option and band steering?? option aren't on on the controller - I've found those two items to be buggy

Oddly enough I am having this issue, intermittently, and since upgrading to 15.2.1.

Toggling Aeroplane mode on and off solves it for me too. Minor but irritating at times...

Yeah, latest firmware on everything
All those options are turned off.

I just rebooted all the Ubiquiti devices - so far so good

Weird issue. I have a TV option in settings that comes and goes, does it mean my phone is picking up an Apple TV?

Try the Wi-Fi profile.

Thanks Tsepz, interesting to note the release is not the same as the beta RC. I was on the RC and have had the update notification.
