The Issue with my ADSL

Hi,

I have now used 3 ADSL Accounts on my line (384kbps):

1. WA
2. TI
3. Cybersmart

All of these, I get an average download speed of 0.20mbps down, 0.11 up.

I now think the issue here is with my adsl line (which used to be 0.31mbps down, 0.10 up all day). I hear you can ask telkom to move your ADSL to another exchange. Would this solve the issue? Would there be a fee for this?

No, you cannot move to another exchange.

But you can move to another DSLAM within the same exchange - if there are indeed multiple DSLAMs in your exchange.

Is there more than 1 DSLAM where i'm connected?

Yes, there are plenty and some are 10Mb/s enabled.

Your issue (for 10Mb/s) is going to be the distance from the exchange and the condition of the copper connection).
