So the insider program is useless if this rubbish gets to end users, MS, stop using end users as beta testers.

Issue I had since the August update is when I start my PC and after Windows 10 loads my sound is automatically muted.

Have a new PC at church, for recording the sermon, and presentations - song lyrics etc.

Has issues with the latest update, cannot load video drivers, so we can get dual screen for presentation, till update installs properly. Hopefully I don't totally waste a few hours on way home, today, like I did yesterday.

People never learn. I'm starting to think it IS the user's fault for allowing this crap to run.

Suddenly after the update my pc is downloading 50g + per day, no upload just download, very weird, already restricted and stopped all uploads
Which would be unacceptable. Even the risk of paying R500 a day for updates and depleting my yearly cap in 4 days is too much.

The latest Windows 10 update has serious problems

Microsoft released a cumulative update for Windows 10 on 10 September which is quickly turning into a nightmare for users.

The update included three key changes which aim to improve security, patch vulnerabilities, and address CPU usage issues for certain processes.
I cannot understand, why I am NOT having any issues with Windows 10, while other users are having major issues.

My laptop is ticking like clockwork, for the past 6 years, since purchasing end 2013.

All I have ever done, was update and upgrade from the initial preloaded Windows 8 software, that came with the laptop, up to the current Windows 10 1903, plus all the updates, right up to this moment.

I have never had to "roll back" my laptop, because of bug issues and whatnot, nor did I ever have to do a clean install from scratch...

Seriously, Guys, what's up with your systems ?

Hmm...

I now have to switch my firewall off just to let my Shield access my files....

naah just repeatedly tried to point out that it had issues which have been flat out denied by certain individuals - nope nothing ever goes wrong and if it does it is the user's fault never windows. So to reiterate - this is not the first time Win 10 has had major issues with an update causing widespread havoc.

so far it seems ive only found one a couple of issues with computers using the microsoft account as an administrator account on the pc, instead of a local administrator account.

At first I thought this was an old article because of the amount of times I've seen the headline "Latest windows update has serious problems" before today, LOL.

What is it with MS and updates? Barring that you have to download gigabytes of entire monolithic binaries in every affected system component often just because a few lines of code changed, it seems like update problems have become the accepted norm these days. Meanwhile, MacOS seamlessly updates very occasionally and you barely notice it when it does.

Roll of the dice. Nothing is wrong with people's systems. Rather ask what's up with MS.
