The latest Windows 10 update has serious problems

Meanwhile, MacOS seamlessly updates very occasionally and you barely notice it when it does.
Say Apple has 100 or so models to do updates for. All run variations of the same components accross the different models. MS has millions of different configurations to cater for. Lets compare the two...

Yes let's. Apple does updates every so often. MS does updates often. What is it with Windows that needs so much "fixing" then?

Once a month Patch Tuesday security updates is bog standard heck even Android does that these days. The big updates will only happen once a year now. Hopefully it continues like that going forward.

I cannot understand, why I am NOT having any issues with Windows 10, while other users are having major issues.

My laptop is ticking like clockwork, for the past 6 years, since purchasing end 2013.

All I have ever done, was update and upgrade from the initial preloaded Windows 8 software, that came with the laptop, up to the current Windows 10 1903, plus all the updates, right up to this moment.

I have never had to "roll back" my laptop, because of bug issues and whatnot, nor did I ever have to do a clean install from scratch...

Seriously, Guys, what's up with your systems ?

I've had years of updates to various PC's and versions of Windows with no issues, and this is the first time I've had to roll back a patch.

I have an older desktop and laptop, and since adopting Windows 10 a few years back I've watched in dismay as the size of the OS grew until it took more space on my HDD than my actual personal data.

I have it installed on my laptop - a Lenovo G50 i3 as well as on my desktop PC - a Core 2 Duo. The laptop & Core 2 Duo are on Win 10 Pro - so far so good., no issues on either of them - as yet!

However, I also have an i7 desktop PC running Win 10 Enterprise Insider Preview - Build 18980.vb_release 190907-1301 - and EVERY time I boot it up, there's NO audio via HDMI - I have to do a restart before I get the audio working again.

I wait 3-6 months before I do major updates. That way all the other suckers test the software first. Just got a message "You have an Update Waiting"..... I guess it can wait a month or two longer...

Roll of the dice. Nothing is wrong with people's systems. Rather ask what's up with MS.

Lack of due diligence by Microsoft, what it is ... , some peoples issues never get solved, and way to many have to buy new hardware to get rid of the issues, till next time MS decides they are dropping support for this or that interface, be it hardware or a software one. And then pray that it does not happen again soon.

Changed my Ethernet connection to a metered connection now. everything else was off, just crazy, delivery optimization off, no app updates etc, . At least it stopped now.
