The longest you've ever gone without sleeping?

Me also about 72+ hours.

Before you ask. Bank I worked for had 3 computer centres. One in CT and one in Durban and one in Jhb. Had to bring them together into one centre. Shut everything down from Jhb, flew to CT backed up everything and made sure backups correct, old reel tapes, set up centre in CT as a switching centre. Flew to Durban repeat. Fly to Jhb, restore all. Bring up mainframe and make sure all works.

PS. I collapsed in the shop on the way home at which I stopped to buy a coke for home. Got an ambulance ride to the hospital and then one home. Got home and crashed for two days.
 
about 30hrs ? had 2 exams after each other a while back
day 1 normal day write exam in morning study for next exam.
day 1 midnight.. falling asleep took some caffiene thingy.
day 2 morning.. caffiene wearing off, took a bit more.
day 2 after exam tired, try and rest - can't keep thinking.. dang caffiene
day 2 night caffiene wearing off, I can finally close eyes and not think alot of things :P tired..
day 2 night nxt door neighbour is also having a party ! :(
day 3 earlier morning.. out fast asleep.
day 3 evening.. wake up see the sun set and mistake it for sun rise.. get angry i woke up so early. still tired eat etc wait the few hrs for supper etc get another 8hrs sleep.
 
it has to be just over 2 days & it was a killa weekend........new year 2005/2006...........i got pissed like a mutha & when i finally laid my bones to rest i was mummified if you know what i mean. :p
 
Friday morning until Sunday night and it was all go - it was part of a hazing ritual for a College frat. I spent Sunday morning hallucinating from sleep depravation.
 
49 hours, 21 minutes stay-awake marathon a while ago, doubt I'll be able to pull it off again.
 
Well, I fcked up this one, fell asleep on couch for almost 2 hours. Hmmm... Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb.
 
52 hours - a long time ago (feels like another lifetime) someone gave me a rage capsule, a box of speed cigarettes and a bottle of Jack (do not try this at home)

spent the last two of those hours staring at the ugliest bit of ceiling i have ever come across

Kinda. They don't call me gerbal for nothing. Not as much as I used to be though. When I was in undergrad I practically lived at a friend's house, and we never went to bed before at least 4am. Uni used to start at 8am, but luckily it was just around the corner.

When I was at school my usual bedtime was 3am.

that's farking insane!!!!
 
Although not in one go, last year just about every night I used to go to bed 12AM-2AM and wake up 6AM. No wonder I got such bad marks..
