I am also going to invest a bit more of my savings in shares.

Only reason why I stopped was the fees involved by FNB. This is not a problem with EE.

FNB needs to up their game with EE on the market, paying less fees for EE is their drawcard but in all honesty Id prefer to have my shares with FNB.

This whole Lonmin debacle has got me so interested in trading, I registered for an online trading course. Scheduled to start in Feb.

I am also very interested. Which website did you register on?

I was thinking of starting a thread where we can chat about all the different resources we could use for trading.

Play the long game was my plan from the start but didn't know about restructuring thing my 600 shares going to turn into 6 :crying:

But this doesn't matter, if each of the current shares are worth 21c then each of the new shares will be worth R21. So its not like you are losing any money.

Jeebers, I've been so busy at work, only managed to visit this page now after 5 days, you people type too much about off topic things, had to read through 20 gazillion pages of crap to get back on track.

I am not sure I think it it the 18th?

It was approved right?

So basically we have to sell before then to at least get something back?

I have 4000 odd shares at 43c (Paid 2k). Which means after the conversion I will have 40 shares at R21= R840. The only hope is if the share price hits 30c or 40c, then your losses become less.

I'm also hoping it goes up otherwise I bite the bullet hold on and hope for the best

If I am going to loose money I might as well stick to the train and ride it out to the end.

I have already written off the money I put into Lonmin. Now just hoping for the best.
