Ya, back on topic now...
I read somewhere that we are looking for 5m for that Frazier Campbell laaitie of ours. I thought it ws a bit steep.
5m is quite high, price of players have gone up too quick. Imagine RM looking to spend 100m for CR, makes the others look cheap (Eto'o,Benzima,Berba in the 30 odd mil ) when in fact they are very expensive.

It is getting crazy man. City wanting to pay 200 000 a week for an out of sorts and off form Ronaldinho. That is more than some clubs pay their entire team!

and im sure you heard/read about how 1 in 7 fans will not renew their season tickets, clubs will take a big knock, especially the lower end clubs.

With this whole credit crunch and rising fuel prices and food prices, then the ticket prices go up. It's crazy.
didnt get to watch the Portugal Vs. Georgia match (not sure if it was even played on TV) but news was that Ronaldo was total crap. So if you think about it, he cant step it up when playing with fellow Portuguese, will he be able to show talent when playing for RM ? I think not, he will be making a big mistake . . .

And i don't mind at all if he sucks for Portugal and then is great for United next season again

i thought so too, but now im not too sure.
Im not worried if Ronaldo leaves and we get our super striker. But if we dont, i'll be pissing my pants,lol.

Let him go if he wants to. I don't care. It's obvious he wants to go, else he would've turned them down a long time ago. He is obviously still entertaining their offers. For R100 million we can buy 3 world class players and still win the league.
100% ... i feel he wants to go but SAF has one finger tied.

Indeed. It is not cool that he is thinking about going but, like you said, 100 million will buy us anybody we want, and probably the league and a cup or two as well

I think he feels awkward and guilty cos he feels in debt to SAF and he is happy at OT. I get the feeling he wants to leave but doesn't want to let SAF and co. down.
