Sorry to be doing this in a Man United thread but.......
Genius and Supa, seriously, get a grip. This obsession with Barcelona is getting a bit 'over the top'. You two obviously support Barcelona and rightly so as they're your team. You both think Barcelona are the best team in the world right now and I would agree with you.
But, stop making out like Barcelona are the perfect team out there as if they never lose and when they do, the opposing team were lucky or negative. You guys are obviously being biased but a bit of common sense would be refreshing from both of you.
Let's take an example. If you or anyone else was a manager of a team facing Barcelona in a Semi Final or any other important match, and you know that Barcelona are a far superior attacking team, would you a) expose your defence and attack Barcelona at will? or b) sit back and contain them, frustrate them and catch them on the counter? Both have their advantages and disadvantages but I would think that against a team like Barcelona, option b is a more effective way of playing against them. That doesn't make it negative football, it's clever tactics IMO.
Also, comparing La Liga and the Premiership is pointless. Maybe La Liga is the best league, I'm not arguing that, but it is completely different from the Premiership. The Premiership is a more physical, route one type football league (not all the time). Who's to say Barcelona wouldn't struggle in such a league. For example, would Messi be able to play his brand of football against a side like Bolton at the Reebok?
