ah - lovely :)

also, United are arguable the most famous in the world!

Just a question regarding football attendances: Do United have the highest average attendance than any other team in Europe over the past 5 years?

I doubt it :(

The San Siro and Bernabeu and Camp Nou are pretty big :o

Did some research.

2006/07 - 05/06 - 04/05
1 - 4 - 4 Man United
2 - 3 - 3 Barcelona
3 - 2 - 1 B. Dortmund
4 - 3 - 3 Real Madrid
5 - 5 - 9 Bayern Munich

the surprise: AC Milan 18 - 7 - 5

and Germany's league has the highest overall average attendance.

Wonder what the 2007/08 stats are - anyone?

That certainly does make some interesting reading.

Yip and if plans go ahead to increase OT's capacity, then we could be looking at hanging on to number 1 for a while in the future :)

projected plans are to increase OT to 96k

And they would sell all the tickets easily as well. :)

Nou Camp seats 110k :D:p

Germany has one stadium bigger. Nou Camp is full every week of the year, so doubt any English club can come close to attendance. :p

Beckham tells Ronaldo to stay

David Beckham has encouraged Cristiano Ronaldo to stay at Manchester United, rather than join Real Madrid.

Ronaldo is currently considering his future following Real's well-publicised interest and is due to make an announcement later this week.

United are determined not to sell the Portuguese winger and Real have intimated that they have given up on signing the 23-year-old.

Beckham, who left United for Real five years ago, can understand the lure of accepting a move to the Santiago Bernabeu.

But the 33-year-old believes Ronaldo would be best served by spending the next stage of his career still under the guidance of Sir Alex Ferguson.

Right club

"I believe he's at the right club and a club he should stay at because as much as Real Madrid are a great team and one of the biggest clubs in the world, he's only just starting at Manchester United," said Beckham.

"He's only been there a few years. He's got a lot of people around him who will protect him.

"As a fan of Manchester United I hope he stays there, but who knows?"

Beckham, who was given the England captaincy for Sunday's friendly win over Trinidad & Tobago, also expects Ronaldo to be named the World Player of the Year after winning a Premier League and UEFA Champions League double, in addition to scoring 42 goals for United last season.

"It's none of my business," added Beckham. "All I'm going to say to him is congratulations on an amazing season.

"I'm sure he'll be crowned World Player of the Year and he deserves it."

Well we thinking of expanding our studium in the near future so we can hold more fans ;)

Its impossible for United to average more fans when the Nou camp seats almost 40k more than OT!!

Nou Camp has been full whole year!

It is the order of highest league average attendences starting at 06/07 and looking backwards in time.

So in 06/07 United were 1st, the year before 4th etc..
