Nani i agree, Anderson not so. To me Anderson is good for 45min each match. Nani 45min in a few games maybe :D

Thing is, we need replacements Giggs and Scholes who can be great for 90 minutes week in, week out. Carrick seems to have assumed Scholes' role quite well. Giggs' position is still up for grabs if you ask me. Even Rooney performs better in the midfield, playing out of position, than Fletcher, Anderson or Nani :o

were you not happy with Anderson replacing scholes last season ? we won alot of matches with Anderson playing really well.

I really wasn't :(

I remember Anderson playing really well in one game. Literally. For me, he does not add enough to the team. He runs around a lot but doesn't really contribute to the attack- he crossing leaves a lot to be desired and he is not what you would call a prolific goalscorer and if he is there to be a holding midfielder, then Hargreaves and Carrick are far better choices in that role. Even Scholes is better, at his age :)

I see. :)

I am a big Anderson fan, along with many many other MU supporters. :)

End of the day, they all have a certain quality that makes the team click, lets hope they start using it now.
 
rooney scored !! :D quite a top class finish as well , somehow i have a feeling this will be a good season for him, but ill shut up now before i jinx it:D

That match against Portsmouth reminded me of the FA Cup a few years ago in which we totally dominated and outplayed Arsenal, yet Arsenal won on penalties and won the FA Cup. I will never forget that day. Even Thierry Henry said that he felt sorry for Man U. The commentators were going on and saying that they have never, ever seen a team being that dominated before. That day was quite hurtful.
 
I just wish SAF didn’t waste all that cash on berba. if only he invested a third of that money on a classy right back, and maybe another striker (e.g. huntelaar) things would not look so gloomy right now.

don't get me wrong, i know this is just the beginning of the season and we (Man. U) is gonna be tops real soon, but i still believe berba was a bad buy, and his presence is not really going to be beneficial to rooney :(

I totally agree, i would have prefered Huntelaar to Berbs, and also another RB since they did lose out on Bosingwa. Maybe they are counting on Fabio ?
 
Berba scoring two goals , but he was not celebrating ? I know the 1st goal was a gift, but 2nd one was quite impressive. Why is he in such a sad mood :(

Ronaldo missed a few chances but he was good as usual, still doesnt look 100% fit though.

Nani was Nani as usual, useless.
O'sheat was O'sheat as usual.
Rafael was awesome, I hope he gets more games ahead of Wes Brown who should rather just remain on the bench.

Tevez, well he just couldnt pass, and the one chance he had to shoot, he passes badly to Ronaldo.
