wow 1 whole line... whereas for the last 4-5 matches that I've seen you comment on united you've always come out blazing about how crap nani is...

and let me get this right Supasta = Genius?
lol:D:D from "you dont see anything" to "1 line is not enough".Go look around the forum, nowhere have any of us said keane is not being a flop at liverpool.

The difference with keane and nani is nani is a crap player, keane actually is good.

We have said nani and anderson are crap from the start (go as far back as you want in the sports section).
Now all of a sudden people who have denfended them are saying oh no they are actually crap.Guess its just another bandwagon to jump on.

I'm in no way a Man United fan, far from it, in fact hate them to bits for obvious reasons but feel the criticism of Anderson and Nani on this forum is beyond belief. Here are two youngsters who clearly have potential playing for a big club with many top class players and hardly get enough playing time to settle in the side yet get written off so early in their career.

Why not give them that chance and who's to say that when they are given more responsibility (as in regular first team player) that they won't up their game and become top class players. They clearly have the potential.

No, you got it wrong. I gave my opinion on Keane countless times.

Go as far as back as you want in this thread. Nani and Anderson were always United's AMAZING young talent. Supasta was the only person on this forum who said from the start - that they are CRAP! I agreed!

They are crap - No goal Anderson and Michael Jackson's lost child aka Nani are two players that were hyped up so much by members on this board, it is laughable to see them change their attitude towards them now.

Nani and Anderson werent bought as squad players. They were bought with the goal in mind that they would be great one day. Well thats what everybody claimed, all they needed was time :D

The hype that followed after they made the move was sickening. I guess this season their time is running out, cos Man United fans are changing on them.

Its as good as its gonna get with Nani. He has had OVER enough time to mature and show what he is worth. Even the United followers on this board has turned on him.

So who was right from the start about him?

oh so you can't hype up about any up and coming stars? Personally I never made the above mentioned claim, yet you persistently bring up this topic over and over again. Give it a rest already, almost every single post you make in any united thread is about how crap nani and anderson is.

So if Messi was an up and coming star and he didn't turn out to be what you expected, we should constantly bring that up?
People make mistakes so what, wait and see maybe it's a big mistake, maybe it's not.

Best you take the advice to ignore them - they really do babble on and on, and know nothing about football...

Again you miss the point.WE THINK HIS A CRAP PLAYER, not a rising star. There is no talent that will improve in a few years, this is the best we seeing of nani.

There is no hidden talent in Nan/Anderson, they have been playing first class football for about 4 years now (in less than that time messi had already proved himself a great player, picking up tons of awards).

Players who actually have talent and will only improve over time are players like Bojan,Wallcot etc. Those type of players you can actually see they have talent and only get better every year.

Missing the point! It was plain as day to see that Nani had no talent. Yet, he was hyped up like the next Ronaldo and we were told we know nothing in football cos we say Nani is no good. Cos all he needs is time.

Maybe i should hype Eboue from Arsenal up, and see the response i get, i will be told i am MAD and know NOTHING about the game.

So who was right and who was wrong? Seems there are certain members who say we no nothing about football but they have the same views like us now.

LoL - Henry still wants us to think that he is ignoring us. Yet, he replies to our posts :D

LOL

Giggs actually played well for a change. They should really sell Ronaldo already. Pathetic.

Giggs had a great game. Even Park played his socks off for once.

Ronaldo was a disappointment. But at least he got the assist for the last goal...:p

Manchester United`s Halfway House

Manchester United are now halfway through their season and sit in a handy position in the league. We look at where they were on the last six occasions they lifted the Premier League title...

1998/9 - 4th, five points behind leaders Aston Villa
With Manchester United trailing behind in the league, they were desperate for results to start coming their way. They managed to go the rest of the season unbeaten with the most notable results being a 6-2 thrashing of Leicester and their 8-1 demolition of Nottingham Forest. It's also interesting to note that the last time Manchester United played Inter Milan in the Champions League they went on to win the famous treble. How about that for an omen, ManYoo fans?

1999/2000 - 2nd, one point behind Leeds
Despite being ranked favourites to defend their crown, ManYoo experienced a relatively rocky start to the season but by the half-way point they were in touch despite getting shafted 5-0 by a then mid-table Chelsea.

However, Manchester United weren't crowned champions for no reason and they showed their resilience and strength to fight. As Leeds and Arsenal started losing, ManYoo couldn't stop winning and overhauled their rivals from across the Pennines. They maintained their form to the end of the season which saw them triumphantly lift the Premiership once again as well as end their season on a 14-match unbeaten run. Pretty impressive.

2000/1 - 1st, eight points ahead of Arsenal
Pretty much a stroll from start to finish, with a 6-1 win over the Gunners in February giving a pretty clear indication of the gulf in class between the two. The gap would eventually be ten points.

2002/3 - 3rd, four points behind ArsenalAfter being knocked out of the FA Cup by Arsenal and the League Cup by Liverpool, Sir Alex Ferguson made sure that his Manchester United side were to regain the title taken from them by Arsenal in the previous campaign. ManYoo had won no trophies at all that season, which set alarm bells ringing for Sir Alex. What was even more worrying was that at the half-way point in the season, United were trailing the leaders Arsenal by four points and with losses such as their 3-1 defeat to the Boro, things didn't look good.

However, you can never write off United. They kicked off the New Year recording a succession of victories with the most prominent results being their 6-0 hammering of West Ham (yet again) and their 6-2 victory against Newcastle, not to mention a 4-0 win over Liverpool - a game which was the subject of much debate as they were awarded two controversial penalties. Naturally, Ruud Van Nistelrooy efficiently tucked both away.

2006/7 - 1st, two points ahead of Chelsea
After the arrival of Jose Mourinho and Arsenal's 'Invincibles', Manchester United saw their trophy go missing for three seasons in a row. This meant they were more determined than ever to win back the title - and signed Michael Carrick to that end - and they were not going to let anything stand in their way, reflected by their position at the half-way point. Not even a surprise 2-1 defeat to Arsenal could stop them, and they eventually won the title by six points. In Europe, they humiliated Roma by thrashing them 7-1, although they lost out to Milan in the semi-finals.

2007/8 - 1st, one point ahead of Arsenal
Impressive though he was in 2006/7, nobody could have prepared themselves for the sort of show Cristiano Ronaldo was going to put on in 2007/08. United reached halfway at the summit, but were quickly relegated to second after suffering a 2-1 defeat to West Ham. However, the loss didn't seem to affect them at all as they followed up with a 6-0 win against Newcastle and a 4-0 thumping of Arsenal. The title race went to the last day of the season, while Ferguson completed a double over Chelsea and collected his second European crown in Moscow.
