I think we should keep hold of him. But if he is not happy to play a role from the bench, then he needs to go, sadly.

United should have had a penalty and made it 2-0. If it was anyone but Ronaldo, I'm damn sure the ref would have given it. Was clear as day...

Indeed. :( Clearest penalty ever.

Still 1-0 and we continue marching on, without conceding :)

Carlton cole almost scored, but FERDINAND was there to pressurize him, i thought he was going to give him a penalty.

I think that cos he dives so much refs always think twice when awarding him a penatly.

Maybe for just once Ronaldo should TRY and stay on his feet. I cant believe how man times in 90 mins he falls down.

It does not matter how many times a player falls down if he is fouled. If he is fouled in the box, it is a penalty, no matter who the player is. Refs should judge each incident on its merit.

I know Ronaldo goes over easily but I think he dives a LOT less than he used to and a lot less than a certain Mr Gerrard :)

Ya of course i agree - if its a foul its a foul.

But the thing is, Ronaldo gets away with far more by diving every game. He should be carded everytime he dives but gets away with it.

Gerrard can dive in every game from now till the end of the season - he would still not come close to how many times Ronaldo dives.

We will just have to agree to disagree on that one ;)

Ronaldo is the most renowned diver in the EPL. Every single tackle that is made close to him, he falls down like he was hit by a bus.

Iv recently discovered Gerrard dives which is a bit dissapointing but he is miles off from being a fairy and stopping the flow of a game like the infamous Ronaldo.

True, but when a player cries foul all the time, they are going to think he is lying again, as anyone would, if he goes down again. The refs are not always well placed so they have to go with their instincts at times, and in those instances, Ronaldo will not get the benefit of the doubt because he falls for everything. It's like a kid who constantly lies to you and when he catches on nonsense, you reprimand him and he tells you more stories, and you automatically assume he's lying again, since he always does that.
Ronaldo can learn a thing or two from Anderson and Berbatov.
