He has a poor season though - I am sure he would be the 1st to admit that much. Just really really hope that he aknowledges it and makes this his last.

Great way to sign out, by beating Chelsea and winning another double :)

definately the best way to call it quits, its obvious he knows he has to try his best. c'mon Giggs, dont dissapoint ... :)

Started watching Man U around 1982 when Gary Bailey played for them, been a fan ever since.

And Liverpool 2nd fav team, cause Bruce Grobbelar played for them.
Barnes and Rush were also good players to watch back then.

hey alf, do you remember John 'Budgie' Burridge those years ? at that time he was playing for either QPR or Wolves. does that name ring a bell ?

Was 1983, not 1982.
This was the first time I watched a game. Was a double.

The 1983 FA Cup Final was contested by Manchester United and Brighton & Hove Albion at Wembley. The first match finished 2-2 after extra time. Gordon Smith and Gary Stevens scored for Brighton; Frank Stapleton and Ray Wilkins for United. In the replay, United won 4-0, with goals by Bryan Robson (2), Norman Whiteside and a penalty from Arnold Mühren. The first game is famous for the Radio commentary quote by Peter Jones "...and Smith must score" talking about a shot by Gordon Smith which was actually a save by the Manchester United goalkeeper Gary Bailey; the quote was subsequently used as a title for a Brighton Fanzine.

i think ferguson will field his strongest line up, i dont think he will mess around and rest players considering the champs league is quite far away in terms of resting for players

he cannot say rooney may get injured, rooney is hardly ever injured and if fit needs to play him

strongest team win the title, rest then play the champs league final

i doubt ferguson is ready to send out a second string team like he did against chelsea

he needed to against chelsea

i dont think the 1st can play 3 massive games in 1 week
