if you mean rooney, i can say the same thing about alot of players last night

im not sure if you saw rooney's pass to ronaldo that setup a glorious chance to score only for cech to come up with 2 big saves

rooney had a quite game but alot of good passes

rooney does not hide behind anyone

look at drogba did nothing the whole game cept hit the bar

Rooney played like Rooney, working hard for the team and just not getting chances to score. I was wrong though, he didnt shine. That pass to CR to pass to Tevez for Carrick to miss was a heart popping out moment. Carrick had time to stop and shoot. but it was a good shot nonetheless.

drogba hit the post, not the bar.
 
Ya besides the shot against the post, Drogba did nothing. Was nowhere to be found and that probably added to his frustration and then he smacked Vidic. The two of them have been going at each other for a while now. A few weeks ago Drogba kneed Vidic in the mouth, now he has slapped him. I take my hat off to John Terry though - he did everything in his power to restrain Vidic, cos the way it was looking...thought Vidic was gonna get sent off as well for trying to retaliate Drogba.

yeah, true. Vidic could have seen red too if the others werent bunching around him. But Drogba was out of control ...

hey howcome no Chelscums not mentioning anything about that Joe Cole DIVE just outside the box ? and how Malouda was crying like a biatch when he tripped himself ? :cool:

On a side note. Thats the 1st penalty shootout SAF has won. Pretty amazing.
 
A few points. United had six English players in the starting 11 - so much for being foreign.

The Chelsea players verbally assaulted the ref after every single decision that went against them and spent most of the game diving and falling all over the place. Culminating in Drogba losing the plot and getting red.

United unbeaten in the Champions League in 2007/08 season :D

Anyone got tickets for the Chiefs game at Newlands yet? Which seats are where exactly? I am not familiar with the names of the stands that Computicket's awful website has to offer...
