The reason players dont come down to SA is

A: on vacation
b: dont want to injure important players (especially during the transfer window!)
c: A lot of them if need be do surgery during the off season
d:Chance to play a full squad of reserves

It has nothing to do with the england national squad not being in the euro 2008 as a lot of people presume.

I understand all that but at least the England players are all available to come, cos they are not in Euro2008

He is brilliant! He will fit in nicely to the Barcelona role and partner Carlos Puyol. He is tipped to take over from the Barca captain one day.
