It does have a cover system, as I recall, but nowhere near as fluid as ME2's. I do remember liking it though.

does ME1 have the cover system?
for some reason I think it doesnt. if it does, will definately play it this weekend![]()
It's best to play ME1 first because the combat system in ME2 has been greatly enhanced. The cover system is not as good. If you play ME1 second, you might feel like you're taking a step backwards in terms of the combat, but it does have far more RPG elements.

It is a shame that ME3 doesn't look like it will be on Steam.

Does anyone know where i can pick up ME1/2 for cheap for PC? Steam its at $19.99 which is expensive.
