Yup, battery time. Had mine replaced in Dec. Mine was R4000 incl labour. So this error pops up intermittently - I'm assuming it's time for a new battery? Anyone else experienced this?
Mazda quoted me R3500 for a new battery...

You can get this battery for half of the cost at the battery centre. I replaced mine in Feb 2020 and it is still fine.So this error pops up intermittently - I'm assuming it's time for a new battery? Anyone else experienced this?

Congrats on the new ride.I have sold my 2019 Active Auto with 182000 km on.
5 x v belt tensioners replaced, front brakes x 2, rear brakes x 2 ( told the auto hold uses those rear brakes ). Averaged 9.4 l over duration of having vehicle. Battery once.
Pity you struggle to get the original Geolander tyres ( 17 inch ) , really gave good mileage.
LIkes :
Service plan
Drive
Not so much :
- Infotainment ( really should let you choose whether you wanna use touch screen or dial. I prefer dial, but passengers might wanna use touchscreen
- Auto levelling lights. Just give us a dial to manually adjust. I went through so much hassle adjusting left light manually with screwdriver to be a little higher than right so that I can have enough visibility and not get flashed by oncoming drivers.
- NA engine
Dislike
Gearbox and gear ratios especially 4 to 5. Revs drop to much between 4 and 5, resulting in vehicle kinda going from 6 to 4 with cruise control on.
I guess not to bad overall, got a decent deal on a new one. Vs the 2109 model I miss my foglights, I feel mags is a downgrade on the old ones. Got an Active Auto with leather seats .
Think dealer did that. Want to do the black rims and mirrors after Easter
They seem to be a known problem, not sure if any changes have been made with the engines being unchanged.Congrats on the new ride.
Those v belt tensioners seems to be a problem on these cars, they go very quick. I hope they have somehow improved on the facelifted model.
Still looks the same as the current gen.MotorMatters review of the 2023 CX-5 2.2 DE AWD Akera

No one said it was all new model/generation lolStill looks the same as the current gen.
So I have done 8000 km with the new car. V belt tensioner still quiet, which is the most I have done without it making a noise. They seem to be a known problem, not sure if any changes have been made with the engines being unchanged.
Curious to know why you thinking of switching from petrol to Diesel?Anybody here looking to sell a 2017 to 2019 white 2.2d? Thinking of getting one to replace my petrol
