True, I dont like the war thats going on, and the killings and pictures we get on email is just to sad to even think about. I wish the war would stop. But I also would like to see my "team" winning just like you are...

Im also glad that someone decided to help Palestine out, all the other Arab countries are just sitting in meetings:(

Jerusalem - Four rockets hit northern Israel from Lebanon early on Thursday, military sources told AFP.

Five people were slightly wounded when the projectiles fell around the area of the northern town of Nahariya, Israeli media reported.

Israel and Lebanon's Hezbollah militia fought a 34-day war in 2006, after guerrillas from the Lebanese Shi'ite movement seized two Israeli soldiers in a deadly cross-border raid.

During the conflict, Hezbollah sent more than 4 000 rockets into northern Israel.

The war killed more than 1 200 Lebanese, mostly civilians, and more than 160 Israelis, mostly soldiers.

Israel is currently in the 13th day of a massive offensive in the Gaza Strip.

Hezbollah carried out its deadly raid in 2006 two weeks into Israel's last major operation in Gaza, launched after Gaza militants seized another Israeli soldier in a raid near the Palestinian territory.

It's actually so simple - accept the state of Israel and stick to agreements. It must be hatred born from fanaticism that blinds these Arab nations. Hopefully their God will forgive them.

This thread is much like the conflict itself - full of stubborn pig headed idiots incapable of admitting some kind of fault regardless of which side they fall and inevitably will continue to keep the conflict going for 100 more years.

Keep going fellows and remember to walk in a circular way chanting i am an idiot who thinks murder is the only way forward.

Emotions are becoming volatile today !

Reading through this thread one noticeable constant is that those on the pro-israel camp are advocating the extermination of all in Gaza - men, women, and children.

Please correct me if I have missed something but I don't see the same coming from the pro-gaza camp asking for the extermination of the israelis.

My question though to both camps is this -

what does your religion have to say about loving your fellow man ?

I cannot comment on what the Quran says apart from understanding that Islam is supposed to be a religion of peace.

The Torah ( is it the same as the Old Testament ? ) says for example

Do not oppress an alien; you yourselves know how it feels to be aliens, because you were aliens
in Egypt. (Exodus 23:9)

When an alien lives with you in your land, do not mistreat him. The alien living with you must be
treated as one of your native-born. Love him as yourself, for you were aliens in Egypt. I am the
Lord your God. (Leviticus 19:33-34)

Would I be wrong in suggesting that religious teachings are taking second place to personal animosities in this conflict ?

The jewish folk claim the land is theirs as per the Torah yet the other teachings of the Torah seem to be ignored.

The islamic folk also seem to forget the peaceful teachings in favour of violence.

This conflict is a war between religions yet neither seem to act according to their religious teachings. As neither a jew or muslim I am struggling to make sense of this.

PS: I am not suggesting that other religions behave any better.
