The mobile operators' interconnect fee lie

So, in essence, it is important for everyone on this thread to understand that an Operator is in no way obliged to pass the so called savings on the termination rates onto the subscriber...the retail rate and the wholesale rate are two alone standing components. South Africa is also one of the cases where even with MTR's are reduced and retail holds its ground or sees a slight reduction. in essence, the rule is not what goes down must force down, but rather what goes down pushes other areas up.... So, stop complaining...things could have been worse.
