The Mweb drop-outs are back.

Just had the third drop-out in the last 30 minutes.

Adsl stays up, but there is no traffic flow for around a minute then resolves itself.

Is anyone else experiencing this - I know it's not related to my network.

Hi daveza,

When did this problem start?
Have you tried rebboting your router yet has it happened since you made this post?

This is not a problem with our routers, it has happened to me and others a few times in the last two weeks or so as well, very frustrating when i am in a squad on bf3 and my connectivity just disappears for a few minutes.
 
Having a similar issue. Feels like packet loss but is very intermittent. Working perfectly one minute then suddenly its dead for a while then picks itself back up. There is no dsl reset on the router, and the router doesn't go down.
 
Hi Guys,

I am not aware of any such issue, could you please provide me with more details such as:

- location
- phone number
- type of account (ie: shaped/unshaped - 1mbps)
- how often it happens if possible
- router model

Any other info you think might be relevant, please include it as well.
It will certainly help us narrow down the cause of the issue.

Experiencing the exact same issue on our business uncapped 4Mbps from MWeb.

DNS fails to resolve intermittently.

Thought it was my side only but looks it could related to this as well.

First time this has happened to me and has happened twice today. Resetting the modem (seperate to router, connected via network cable PPPoE) solves the issue.

I think both times I answered my phone, could be related?

4MB uncapped

Good Afternoon everyone

Please let me know if you are still encountering a problem with connectivity?
 
Same issue since Sunday. 4mb line and Billion 4204 router. Even had mybb failing to resolve a few times. Had to reguarly reboot router. Email etc worked just fine.
