The Mweb drop-outs are back.

This has been happening for me all day in Durban, but I am on Afrihost and a 6140/644 line.

My DSL light goes out, blinks then comes back on.

Different to what we are experiencing - our dsl light stays on all the time but dns dies.

Good evening Pixual, thanks for that.

My DSL light goes out, blinks then comes back on.

How are you testing for ' disconnects ' ?

Telkom will confirm my line never stops syncing.

I think this is happening to me as well. Started yesterday and not sure what it was.

I would lose connectivity for about a minute or so and then it would be fine again.

Happened to me less than 5 minutes ago.

I have all filters on my line :)

Happens to me every now and again. Kicks me off Xbox Live too - maybe once or twice a day.

mweb 1mb uncapped

The MWEB guys, please send me tracers to local and international sites; I would like to establish if you are all routing via DBN.

ok... let me know if it happens tomorrow then; we will then log the call back for Thursday (during business hours)

Good evening Reaper84,

your line readings look fine at the moment and I cannot pick up any discreptancies there. You have advised that you have filters on all you points being plugged into wall jacks. Is there any noise on your analgue line?

There is some noise but this only really started happening yesterday.

Not a train smash, I will monitor it and let you know if it happens again
