How do small kids open the rear doors to enter the car?
How do small kids open the rear doors to enter the car?
Must be a bit of a fag for the driver to get out to open the doors for them.
Since you talk about, I think it is a good thing, I hate people who let kids open doors scratching other people's cars. Always an awkward situation when parents have to fight in front of kids about these sort of things. How do small kids open the rear doors to enter the car?

Perhaps I was a bit vague but I think that they are too high for a small child to reach.Door handles are hidden ie. Alfa 145 & 156 style.

Week 2 with this car. What a car!
How many sold in November ?
I don't see the value , except for the design looking flash maybe, otherwise , no. Think Clio, Polo , etc...
No official word. Nissan is seriously missing the boat with this 1 engine, 1 tranny option only that is offered in SA. There needs to be an auto option, a diesel option would be good & perhaps a slightly more peppy turbopetrol engine option. When is the diesel getting launched in SA
Agreed and thanksNo official word. Nissan is seriously missing the boat with this 1 engine, 1 tranny option only that is offered in SA. There needs to be an auto option, a diesel option would be good & perhaps a slightly more peppy turbopetrol engine option.
Give the deeds.

Well I moved a lot further from work. The Thar as fun as it was are not built for a long daily commute and after the recent fuel price increases and the short service intervals(10k) it also got too expensive expensive.
So went to get trade in quotes on a couple of hatchbacks. Nissan was the only one will to settle the Thar without adding to the purchase price of the new car. So I basically got the best deal from them. So I looked at the Micra since it has a 6 yr/150 000km warranty and 3yr/90 000km service plan(which I increased to 5yrs).
Test drove it and fell in love. Then decided to do the deal. Like I said. 2 weeks in and I am loving it.
Really really light on fuel. Had brilliant services for Droomers Nissan so far. The car is good looking. lots of nice tech inside including android auto. I am not sure if the other models come with Android auto but the Acenta plus do. Holds really nicely on the highway. Eats up our bad roads. Seats are really nice. The interior has this orange leather trim. Freaking cool.
I might just enjoy the car a lot more then anyone else would since I came from the Mahindra Thar that was as basic as you can get. I loved it, don't get me wrong there. I had some really awesome adventures with that Mahindra. It is just not satisfying my needs now.
I have done lots of research and found that the Micra is actually built with the same 900cc engine that is in the clio and is also sitting on the same chassis. heck, I parked next to a clio and saw I had exactly the same wheels as well. Everything else looks different though. A specially the interior.
The pic below was last saturday where I set the cruise control at 100km/h. After a couple of minutes the usage came down from 5.9L/100km(this is my avg) to 5.1L/100km.
