The facelifted Nissan X-Trail has just launched in South Africa. Here’s a look at what’s changed, plus what’s on offer in terms of specifications.
The updated Nissan X-Trail has hit South African showrooms and the Japanese brand is claiming that it is its “most advanced, most refined and most luxurious Nissan X-Trail range to date.”
The Nissan X-Trail has some legacy, with around 50 000 units sold in South Africa over a few generations. Globally, more than 8 million have been shipped.
The facelifted model gains a visual update in the form of a new-look bumper and front grille, while the lower bumper has been reconfigured. There are new alloy wheel designs ranging from 17-inch, 18-inch to 19-inch on the flagship derivative. The headlights and taillamps have both received a subtle update.
Under the skin, Nissan claims to have enhanced the underpinnings and manufacturing processes with the goal of a smoother and more refined driving experience.
