also... the argument about pc's needing upgrades every 5 years.
sure! but in 5 years the game's settings on "low-medium" will look better than the 360's version

something xbox users don't think about. which is very true, sadly.

an Xbox is merely a PC that you can't upgrade, with expensive games. yes it is fast for todays games but so are pc's - otherwise nobody would be playing them.

you can't borrow a pc game from a friend?

the last time i had a compatibility issue was when i was still using DOS

installation problems? xbox cd's don't scratch? i`ll argue that they scratch more because you handle them more often
 
I'm a PC gamer, i believe in try before i buy. If i can find a demo great stuff otherwise i have no choice. I use to buy be4 i tried, hence all the garbage i have never played in my DVD drawer.

If a game is amazing and i intend to play it for more than 1day i will buy it. I havent upgraded my PC in 3years! Just added 1gig ram + GFX card. I play everything and i'm waiting for GTA4 Nov!!
BTW bought the GFX 2nd hand from a buddy for R1000 and the Ram was dirt cheap from my local PC-shop

I will always stick with an pc. I rather have one entertainment system. Than have a pc and a gaming system. Also when my pc gets slow I can just oc it for a speed boost, consoles can't do that.:D

This thing about the pc being expensive is a myth. There are many ways to get a good pc at a good price you just need to know were to look.
 
Xbox - instant gratification with friends or Live (on the couch).

PC - for everything else/every other gaming experience.

Yes, I know you can't upgrade an xbox, but they do need replacing.

LOL Meph is probably not with strategy games... I'm for SC2... though I'm gonna try and not Hype... seeing how all else fails....
Anyways I love my PC. I'm not very good at getting some facts and burning the other platforms haha. But these talks about PC being to expensive to keep... WTF!? are you buying your PC at game?
I'm fine with the DS though...

PC not even worth considering anything else for me.
 
PC here, obviously. (it wouldn't really affect my life either, as I wouldn't come near an xbox with a 6 button joystick!)
