The official Battlefield 4 thread

So I gave it much thought and decided BF3 had insanely good graphics, so based purely on that notion I bit the bullet and pre-ordered Day One release... I have a few clan members who lived on BF3, so I wont be alone in BF4 ;) If it sux, I only have a week to wait for my COD Ghosts :)
 
Not really excited about BF4 will probably first watch a bunch of YouTube videos before I buy it.

Will definitely buy Ghosts and GTAV, when Rockstar eventually decide to bring it out on PC.

OR

• Battlefield 4 China Rising Expansion Pack
• Access to the exclusive Battlefield 4 Beta
• 3 Gold Battlepacks
• Vehicle Shortcut Bundle for Battlefield 3

early access with the deluxe or all the expansions in one go?

Oh and whats up with the gold battlepacks vs the normal battlepacks?

The Premium is just the addons, you still need the base game.
I pre ordered the Standard Edition & will get Premium after launch. Basically you will spend R400 for the base game & then a additional R500 for Premium totaling R900, that includes the game plus all the expansions.
If it goes like it did with BF3 we will see a later release of BF4 with the premium included.
Would be nice if they had an option to discount the Premium if yoy already had the first expansion.

thanx for the heads up ... seems kalahari is asking 399 origin is 405 and most other places around 450
mind you i will never ever ever ever ever again pre-order a game from kalahari had my pre-orders cancelled
the day before release date, yes more than once.

The beta for BF3 Premium members starts on October 1st for 2 weeks. Pre ordered the Digital Deluxe Edition so that I get the first DLC pack and then I'll buy Premium later on.

How do I cancel my BF4 pre-order?

I bought the premium version but want to change it to the deluxe version instead.

I've tried calling EA,0860 324 357, but no luck!
 
Hi all.

Any news on local BF4 beta servers?

Just need to know if I need to prepare myself for a 150+ latency for the beta period. :)

Not everyone qualfies for the closed beta. It opens for everyone three days later.
 
eish, been a while since i posted, but bf4 has definitely got me interested in the series again, so glad to see the commander back
 
Is it confirmed that we have local BETA servers? All the usual suspects seem VERY quiet and it has me a bit worried. (wage/igame/sgs).

So far all I see is everyone assuming we'll have beta servers for bf4 cause we had them for bf3.
