How do I get the inside a bit dryer without the outside forming a hard crust of becoming too dry?

I had a batch in for 2 days with the fan and bulp but I would like the inside a little bit dryer.

Put a lower wattage bulb in? Watt [sic] are you using now?

I was using a 60w bulb. So should I go lower and perhaps keep it hanging for another day?

I'm pretty sure the box is rate for a 40w bulb so I'm thinking yes, you should go lower.
