It's 614%, and from this statement below they are waiting for ICASA to approve it:
---------------
While iBurst did not want to provide details, they did confirm that it “has lodged its new tariffs with ICASA and awaits approval. The lodged tariffs include a drastic reduction in in-bundle rates and an increase in out-of-bundle rates.”
---------------

If it does get approved then we will know whose pocket ICASA is in won't we.

This is fine with me, I couldn't care about out of bundle rates if there is a plus side to it, but what exactly are those in-bundle rates? Is the extra 200mb/500mb drastic, because I find that very hard to believe.

We all find it hard to believe so I guess we just carry on as normal until iBurst decide to openly tell us what ICASA accepted for their new pricing.

If it's as bad as we've read then it's time to start looking around for a better/cheaper and more reliable service, the downside from my point of view is that will probably mean giving up mobility and soft cap.

GBM, this can go round and round in circles, lets just wait and see what the outcome is and then take action, but those figures had to have come from somewhere.

They were but the call center have also been known to talk cr@p at times.

Only iBurst channel partners received the letter and a manager from iBurst has confirmed the new rates...

Hi XXX

Can you confirm that the pricing as set out in the attached PDF is correct and not a misprint?

Regards

Mike

Hi Mike

Yep, these are correct

GBM just refuses to believe this. I like his stubborness.

Yup - Top-Up Hike Confirmed

Hi All

Top-Up hike confirmed by Tradepages.

It is true.

ADSL never looked sweeter to those still with IBurst... Under R100 for 1GB top-ups.

GO GO IBURST!:(

Looks like GBM thinks if he keeps saying what he says it will go away, going by posts above it looks like it's for real.......that is a really dumb move iBurst........unless you are trying to get rid of your "power" users.

From the so called cheapest ISP to the most expensive that sa is ever likely to see.
