He bought it from Amazon so probably US.
So I installed it to my receiver now. Should I keep it in 1080P mode?
Connected a PS4 controller to it now, it works perfectly.
Going to try and connect an XBOX 360 Control now.
Going to try and connect my Steam Controller as well.
XBOne Control does not work

I haven't tried gaming at all on the Shield...might do one day. I have an Xbox 360 controller lying around from when I had an HTPC in the lounge.
360 control is not working, unless it's wired I think.
Neither does the Steam Controller.
I think that it's because it runs over WiFi Direct and not Bluetooth.
My Plex server is not being picked up for some odd reason. Ok fixed now. Stupid network security settings from Plex.

I know it's a flat 2pin us plug, I want to know what the jack & sockey on the shield site looks like so one could look for a replacement.

I think it must be propriety because I have read before they don't sell replacement power bricks at all.
You might be able to source something elsewhere. saw a ac & car charger with interchangrable usb power cord combo for a shield.
How often do you use these other applications?
I mainly download to my main PC and use Plex, but some episode downloads fail so this is where a streaming service comes in.
Been trying to finish Barry episode 7 so that I can finish the whole season but the download failed.
Are there any tips and tricks?
As for my testing on controls, only the PS4 control works, via bluetooth.
I so much wish the XBOX One control would work.
