Last event was Hillcrest Marathon this year. got injured after that and pulled out of TO. Literally stopped road and trailsHow long were you out the game ? Eish when I first started.....running feels like this...why oh why![]()
That's the sucky part about running. It's terrible until your fitness is up to scratch again.Getting back to running is damn hard.. never has a 5k seemed so agonising
Respect to those smashing those runs daily

Garmin or bustI got a new watch a couple of days ago: Huawei GT 6 Pro. My current one was a Huawei GT Runner, and I was super happy with it. GT 6 has a lot more, at a reasonable price. Huge battery life (21 days, 14 days with fitness activities). The GT 7 Pro is out now, but is quite a bit more expensive (R8K vs R5.5). I got R1600 off thanks to stealing my son's Vitality gadget discount.
So far, so good. I'll see how it does with running at the Pirates 10K and Parkrun.

Indeed. I can still remember the posts about the imminent arrival. Hopefully there are thousands of happy kilometers in the future. Once the kid gets a taste for the speed your days are numberedIt's crazy at the point of realizing it's no longer the "baby" phase he is now proper toddler
