Does anyone here have the Xiaomi MI MIX 6 GB RAM 256 GB ROM phone ? I would be curious to hear your impressions. I am also curious to find out if yours shipped with the leather Xiaomi case ? Gearbest says that their does not...and a cover is a necessity on the slippery ceramic body.

The pricing looks good, about $ 600.00, which I think they have lowered in order to move stock before the Xiaomi MI MIX 2 arrives in the next month or two.

The MI 6 that you linked me to, is way too small for my big hands at 5.15". The MI MIX is a big 6.4" phone

I have the Xiaomi note 4 .If you have any info on connecting the phone to the pc via usb would be great.I have enabled the developoer mode.
installed the MiSuite and could not get to connect.Keep getting install drivers.

Do you just want to copy files or flash?

To copy files to/from Note 4 you did not need to do any of that. Just plug in USB and select MTP file transfer from the drop down menu. (Click on USB in notification). If you have Windows N or K you need to install Media Feature pack for MTP to work.

So it seems like my Redmi Note 4 eventually arrived in SA. We'll see whether it actually gets to me by the end of the year :crylaugh:

My accessories (screen protector, covers etc)... that's a whole different story. Anybody here fluent in Mandarin?

thats awesome, how much different is the stock rom to the radon? just trying to decide whether i should flash it or not, haven't had any major issues as yet.

First run on NOS 05/05 rom with stock kernel... Above average I'd say at 50%

Not knowing the mi5 very well, I do however remember an issue where the phone I think gets confused and switches to the other microphone? Or am I totally lost now

Similar. But the landscape portrait in camera trick doesn't fix it

On loudspeaker it works perfect and otherside can hear. Normally to ear then it becomes very soft on other end

In MIUI 7 yes, MIUI 8 no noobs removed that option.

Option is to install Nova Launcher and in App & Widgets Drawers you can select Hide Apps under Drawer Groups

I'd definitely recommend Nova Launcher. I paid 39 bucks for the Premium version and it's the first thing I install on any Android device.
